School introduces hyena lessons to help children cope amid increased attacks

At the PFWM-sponsored school in Malaa, Machakos, learners are taught how to identify hyenas and protect themselves as attacks rise around Oldonyo Sabuk.

The school is in Malaa, Machakos County. It is fully sponsored by Problem Free Movement in its quest to give education to the less fortunate in the society.

The organisation introduced hyena coping lessons so learners can identify hyenas and protect themselves.

Children walk long distances to and from class. Citizen Digital (Enock Muswii, 2 April 2024) and Kenyans.co.ke reported the school adding the lessons after a rise in hyena incidents around Oldonyo Sabuk.
